As a passionate tactilian, I wanted to make the digital experience of ‘Catching Shower Flowers’ as tangible as possible for my beloved community, this instalment of paper is the first paper keepsake of many things to come, so with this sentiment front of mind I thoughtfully introduce to you—

Fleurs de papier— a year long gift, printed ethically on Australian soils for your friends that like to hold the un-touchable, tangibly.

Printed on textured recycled paper, sealed in a red envelope (with a kiss), tied in a bow and hand signed by Tess, with love from you, to your beloved’s.

These are officially and eternally available via my on-line store, ready to be purchased as gifts and mailed directly to your friends door-step for Christmas, birthdays and those “just because I love you” sentiments.

A beautiful artful gift that lasts an entire year and supports the growing work of an artist, (me).

I have set these tangible gift-vouchers at the same purchase price as a digital yearly subscription (consider the paper voucher a token of love from the overflow of my appreciation that you would support my work and gift it).

It is $90.00 annually, to subscribe to Catching Shower Flower digitally and the paper gift voucher is the same price $90.00 (+ postage and handling).

Gifting an annual subscription gives the recipient:

• A thoughtfully designed bespoke gift voucher mailed to their home with an activation code hand signed and wrapped in a bow with love from Tess (and you).

• A little description card with the ‘Catching Shower Flowers’ prose (see below prose) printed thoughtfully on recycled paper.

• Full access to all paywalled writing and all artful bodies of work launched by Tess via Catching Shower Flowers

• Secret prints and poetry releases via the Tess Guinery store exclusively released to paid subscribers only with password access for purchase.

• Access to the personal chat portal, a place where Tess regularly pops in and converses with the 'Catching Shower Flowers' community, often inviting them into her process and writing explorations.

• A years worth of reading and access to all the archives of previous paywalled releases

A new piece for paid subscribers dropping on Dec 11th (the eve of my 40th bday).

I was having a crisis, but not the kind you might imagine—less of a mid-life quandary and more of a sentimentalist’s dilemma… 

My impending 40th has brought up much for me but not what I imagined it would…

I’m currently putting pen to 40-something reflections as an honorarium to my impending entry into the era I have pretty much waited my whole life for… 40!

This will also be the photographical play-by-play (you never asked for) of the 50 women that recently invaded my town to celebrate such an era around the table, wine flowing and bare feet dancing !!! All captured analogue of course (because film is timeless treasure).

I’ll release this honest piece + visual journal here on Catching Shower Flowers on the eve of my actual birthday — Dec 11th.
