This is a place where I will explore the creative process.
I’m here to trek the very real limitations of my own vocabulary and stretch myself some more. I want to move here with no restraints in regards to the medium I should use when the words beg for them— be it larger essays, ink, poetry, paint, dance, photography, voice memos, journal excerpts or whatever else expresses the necessary—there will be good stuff to see, eat, inhale and lay with here.

The pursuit of seeing beauty and being awake to it is the undercurrent and leading of all my work. I seek it through conversation and electric communion in my prayer life, it’s here, my eyes become awake to beauty and from this place, I create. Art is in found in the everyday”
My clearest thoughts commonly land in the shower… my jejune approach to writing hasn’t yet allowed me to acquaint with what I hope to become second nature. Poetry, prose and the visually expression of photography is where I swim most fluently. Here, in this on-line arthouse I want to stretch my writing approach further and learn to collect, catch and write in the trail that leads to the prose too. I’m giving myself the challenge of carrying the language and catching it just before it lands into potent prose whilst learning to sit more with the unformed tensions that sword play just before and sometimes after.
It’s here I want to set myself the challenge of engaging more with the pre-summaries in my lean towards poetry and prose and get curious about how I could navigate the words further with language and artful imagery. Would you bare with me as I fumble about?
For me, this is a new place of practice, a place where I’ll attempt the habitual disciplines of making art in the forms it calls. There will be spelling mistakes, likely technical malfunctions (setting this up was certainly a brain strain) so forgive me when things are amiss, I’m learning as I go.
For now, I’m not making any methodical promises as to what this is, this is purely improvisational… but you can be sure everything that lands in your inbox will be thoughtful and considered.
I have opted to make this publication accessible to all with alternate options for you sow into my writing as a practice if you feel led to. This is non-obligatory of course.
