I love the kaleidoscope of your collected experiences! Here is my gathered array of beautiful things…

I saw - my patch work textile become a “stain glass window” when held up to the midnight lamps.

I felt - deep gratitude for my people who strode into some hard places with me. I’ll never forget how they held me. And loved me in that holding.

I witnessed - more proof that God is in the business of making good things when two precious friends said ‘I do’ … and also my people bring it on the dance floor.

I created - rainbow pillowcases with my boys.

I held - family visiting from very far away.

I heard - the cruisy bluesy jazz track “Variety Stomp” by Tuba Skinny on my mum’s go-to radio station when driving her car.

I found - a pair of perfect denim jeans at the op shop, which give me nerve that maybe just maybe I can figure out how to wear jeans…

I received - a sweet generous gift of words from you!

I learned - that there is a type of jellyfish called the immortal jellyfish that can return to its juvenile state if the going gets a little rough (thanks to our latest bedtime story). And also that broad shoulders are sustained by the bold hands of others. I am carrier of loads, and, I see now that this is not some solitary achievement but proof of the village that has raised me, and is raising me still.

Here’s to more noticing in the week ahead 💖✨

A lovely scrapbook of attention! I too read that book called ‘Maybe’ only yesterday, but in a slightly different light. It actually got me asking a question in light of The Way—“Is this a part truth?” I thought it came from a very humanist worldview. Stunning artwork though!
