Dear reader,
I made a little film of all the BTS grabs from this special co-creation.
Before you continue on—
I like to recite the words of Twyla Tharp for they are most fitting when it comes to a co-creation of this nature, with these women…
My ya ya sisterhood,
a self-proclaimed ‘pungent posse’
“All collaborations are love stories” and this certainly was that—
Three separate shoot days,
rivers were crossed,
cow poo was tread in barefooted,
a giant roll of canvas’ went missing and was tracked down by the detectives of the entire local on-line noticeboard,
husbands hand-made and helped lift heavy things,
rain came and halted plans,
sun came and made them beautiful,
tears fell,
laughter too,
petals were glued to eye-lids
and there was a near-miss confrontation with a bull.
All seasons of a co-creation were had together on this one and we got in the grit for each shot, having the time of our lives doing it.
